What is KITAP (Permanent Stay Permit Card)

The Permanent Stay Permit (KITAP) is a residence permit granted to foreign nationals (WNA) who wish to reside in Indonesia on a long-term or permanent basis. A KITAP is issued as a continuation of the Limited Stay Permit (KITAS), which is temporary in nature. Unlike the KITAS, the KITAP provides greater stability and long-term residency rights.

The KITAP is initially valid for five years. After the first renewal, it may be granted on a lifetime basis, provided that the sponsorship requirements and legal obligations remain fulfilled.
